There are about fifty eight,000 homeless pupils on higher education campuses in the United States (according to the Countrywide Association for the Instruction of Homeless Little ones and Youth [NAEHCY] and Cost-free Application for Federal College student Aid [FAFSA]).

That number could actually be significantly bigger, specified students’ reluctance to disclose any concerns with their housing.

That same dynamic is also in perform with coding bootcamps, where pupils have been able to get diversity scholarships or other money methods, but are still homeless due to higher housing prices in the cities where bootcamps are based mostly.

On Today’s Breaking Into Startups episode, we share Everette Taylor’s untold story about how he went from remaining homeless in higher school, dropped out of higher education, but went on to become the main internet marketing officer at Skurt.
